Time for a new News Article! I’m sure you remember Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars hitting DS awhile ago, don’t you? It was Handheld Game of the Month in the last Game Informer, it was well-received by Critics, and received a Score of 94 on Metacritic. Well, the grand total in sales sees 88,704 units. Looks like it flopped. What happened, you ask? The DS’ Children-Based Market happened. What’s our lesson here today? Don’t release something as Mature as a GTA game on a console, which has a mostly, Children-Based market, that’s what. Too bad, too, since it looked like a very “Different” take to the franchise, in terms of Visuals. This will say goodbye to any possible good Mature-Themed games for the DS anytime soon, unfortunately. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. www.qj.net/Grand-Theft-Auto-Chinatown-Wars-flops-badly/pg/49/aid/130492
