Alright, time for yet another News Article, and it’s a Study article at that. Here’s what we’ve got. A research team at Iowa State made a study and finds that prosocial game aka non-violent games will improve Social Behavior in gamers. This team was led by Douglas Gentile and overseen by Craig Anderson, who are often critical of violent video games. And the Study Shows….. They didn’t mention much on what defines a game as “Prosocial” but Study Shows pretty well. Some of the instances that I know prove this to be right. A lot of the more violent friends I had liked to play games like Halo and Gears of War, and the calmer few of them preferred to play games like Mario and Final Fantasy. Probably not true for everyone, but that’s definitely a start. insciences.org/article.php?article_id=3976
