Another day of news. Today, we’ve got some news that is a bit interesting or “Different” Not for a certain game, but a list has emerged. What is the list? Top Ten Signs of a Gaming Addict. This list came from “The Koalition” Let’s see how you guys fare, and just to be fair, I’ll introduce the list, with answers of my own.
Clue #1 – You buy at least one game every week
My Answer – Nope, I don’t have that kind of money, nor would I want to.
Clue #2 – Your only purpose of being employed is to buy video games
My Answer – Nope, I would buy games with my money, but it would be more dedicated to saving up to help pay the bills, get faster internet, and saving up to go back to school.
Clue #3 – You buy games you know you will not play more than twice
My Answer – Nope, sorry. I don’t know how many times I will play games I buy, but I can guarantee you that I’ve played through all of the games I own, including the newer ones at least 2 or three times, and more to come
Clue #4 – You feel too much pressure in a relationship because you will have to sacrifice gaming time for your partner
My Answer – That is just sad. If someone feels pressure of losing gaming time to be with their partner, then they need to take a good look at their life. My answer is No. I would never feel bad about not playing games to be around my partner, if I had one.
Clue #5 – When you’re not gaming, you’re reading about them
My Answer – No. I read about games for a little while daily, but I don’t think about them constantly. I have plenty of more important things to worry about during the day, like my finances, and to be looking for work
Clue #6 – You no longer watch TV
My Answer – Couldn’t be any further from the truth. I probably spend more time watching TV than gaming. Gaming isn’t everything, you know.
Clue #7 – You only realize that you have not eaten when your stomach growls
My Answer – Nope, I eat when I get hungry, but sometimes I eat light so I can try to lose weight.
Clue #8 – You realize that you need to move to a bigger house because of your ever-growing gaming library
My Answer – That is so ridiculous. All of my video games wouldn’t even take up a single shelf on my Book-Shelf. If anyone has THAT many games, they’ve got no life whatsoever
Clue #9 – You run out of things to talk to when conversing with people who don’t “game”
My Answer – No problem there. Im not one for conversation, but most of my conversations don’t have to do with video games, they’re on more important matters
Clue #10 – You dust off your consoles and Vacuum the floor knowing you never did chores before you started playing games
My Answer – I care about my consoles. I’ll always clean my PSP’s screen, but I have always done chores around the house. It’s just the courtesy thing to do, and what’s expected of you. If you don’t help out around the house, what good are you for the others that are supporting you?
Well, that is a very interesting list, is it not? Hope you thought it and my answers were interesting.
