Another late one, but here it is, nonetheless. Not very many people come around here anyways. But it’s a rumor come true, sort of. Awhile back, there were rumors going around that Climax Studios, producers of Silent Hill: Origins for the PSP was planning on a remake of the original game for the PSP and the Wii. Well, it doesn’t look like the PSP is going to get this new game, and it’s not really a remake. Here’s what we’ve got. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was just announced for the Nintendo Wii via Nintendo Power magazine. Tomm Hullett, Associate Producer of Konami, talks of the game as such… Harry Mason is still searching for his daughter, but Shattered Memories will have new and different character roles. The sequencing of the events of the game is also different. Hullet talks of this…. I was kind of hoping for this to also be on the PSP, but I’ll just take what I can get. This project sounds like it’ll be a great experience of the original game, or a complete failure. Guess we’ll see in time. www.qj.net/Wii-to-get-new-Silent-Hill-Shattered-Memories/pg/49/aid/129995
