Alright, so here we go. I’ll come in here and post daily gaming news, DGM for short, and will try to alternate. For example, one day I’ll make a news article about a Sony system/game, the next a Nintendo or Microsoft, and then the third day the one I hadn’t done yet, so I won’t just be making articles about Sony, or just about Nintendo. We’ll start with Microsoft, since it’s the console I don’t really have that much care for. No offense to it, but I’m a Sony buff. Here’s what we’ve got from Microsoft’s end for today. Halo Wars added some good “Not Shooting Game” action on the 360, and it’s had an accolade added to it after selling their 1,000,000th copy, in 3 weeks. Other stats about the game thus far include… • There have been more than 2.6 million multiplayer matches played • More than 118 years of time has been spent in multiplayer matches on Xbox LIVE • On average, more than 200,000 “Halo Wars” fans have taken up arms in battles between the UNSC and Covenant each day So, there you have it. Nice job Microsoft. You made some good, fast money on an exclusive game. This may be part of the Halo franchise’s milking, but looks like you did good with the Real Time Strategy. Maybe you should make some more of it in your other franchises sometime soon. www.qj.net/Golden-halo-Halo-Wars-sells-1-mill/pg/49/aid/129647
